Are you a MONOCHROME interiors' kind of a person?
I come across all the time beautiful homes that happen to have monochromatic colour schemes.
'Mono' means one and therefore monochromatic means a scheme based on one colour. And you think, mmhh, this is surely quite a boring decor.
Well, sorry but I disagree......
Photographer and prop stylist, Kara Rosenlund's home is an example of a monochromatic home, everything except boring, don't you think?
I love the striped linen throw on the sofa and the natural rug, and those beautiful wicker lampshades....
The monochrome, nature inspired scheme works perfectly as the canvas for Kara's travels souvenirs' collection.
And the white floors and ceilings keep this cottage flooded with lots of light...although i'm not so sure about the hens in the kitchen -:)!
