Una parte importante de mi tiempo la dedico a mantener mi jardín y mi pequeño huerto. La jardinería ha sido siempre uno de mis pasatiempos favoritos que he ido aprendiendo poco a poco a base de leer y experimentar y por eso he decidido que mi jardín se merece tener su propio espacio en este blog. Si me habéis seguido en Instagram habréis podido ver que la mayoría de mis fotos tienen como protagonistas las plantas y flores que crecen en él.
A great part of my free time I use to spend it in my garden and veggie patch. Gardening has always been for me one of my favourite pastimes which I've learned by reading lots of gardening books and experimenting on the field. This is why I've decided Jade & Lime should have a special place dedicated to the garden. If you follow me on Instagram you probably have noticed that the majority of my pictures relate to plants and flowers that grow in it.
Whether it be the visual delights of a colourful garden in the different seasons with its rich colour patterns and textures, or the satisfaction of being able to eat your just picked up salad from the vegetable patch, gardening is very rewarding.
Claro que el conseguir un cuidado jardín requiere como todo sus esfuerzos, y no os voy a engañar, ha habido etapas en las que me he dicho - al carajo con todo - pero al final vuelvo a ensuciarme manos y uñas de tierra y abono y me paso horas sacando hierbajos porque al final me doy cuenta que igual que amo tanto decorar mi hogar también adoro decorar el exterior, es parte de quien soy, necesito y quiero.
Obviously getting a beautiful garden does not come easy, and like everything else it requires great efforts. I would be lying to you if I said that I'd never have thought of abandoning it all, however I always end up going back to getting my hands and nails dirty with soil and spend long hours weeding because at the end of the day, the same way I love decorating my home, I adore outside, it balances me, is part of who I am, I need it and I want it.
